This a just a simple comic poking fun at the trope of comic characters constantly wearing the same clothing day in and day out. Kickass McAwsome definitely falls into this trope, but the characters do have different seasonal clothing.
On a side note, the three other shirts Danny holds up in the comic are shirts I actually own, and I recreated them for the comic, as opposed to taking the lazy way out and scaling down the image from the actual shirts.
