All you need to know about this comic is that I hate this new wave of 3D movies, though I have to admit I'm biased on the matter, as with my messed up eyes I fall into the roughly 5% of the population that can't see stereoscopic 3D, but I digress. I'll be glad when this fad passes, but seeing as it's profitable it probably won't end any time soon.
On the technical side of things the image was made by layering transparent copies of the character and background layers. I red layer to the left, and a cyan layer to the right. I don't know if the result actually makes a 3D effect, as I said before, I can't see stereoscopic 3D effects.
